Fair Use
Operate NoiseGate only in workspaces where you have permission to install Slack apps. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, overload, or exploit NoiseGate or the Slack APIs.
Your agreement with NoiseGate
These terms outline the relationship between NoiseGate and every Slack workspace that installs the app. They exist to keep your data safe, our service reliable, and expectations clear.
Respect
Use summaries responsibly. Remember that results may contain sensitive insights from your teammates—follow your company’s privacy and data handling policies.
Compliance
You are responsible for meeting any contractual or regulatory obligations triggered by Slack data flowing through NoiseGate. We provide the tooling to support those obligations.
How the service is delivered
Service Availability
NoiseGate runs on redundant infrastructure with automatic failover. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted uptime, but we actively monitor Slack API health, queue processing, and summarisation workloads to minimise disruption.
Suspension & Termination
We may suspend access if we detect abuse, platform policy violations, suspicious OAuth activity, or unpaid invoices. When possible, we will notify workspace owners and provide remediation steps before taking action.
Liability & Warranty
NoiseGate is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid to NoiseGate in the preceding twelve months, if any.
Improvements & Feedback
When you share product feedback or feature ideas, you grant NoiseGate a royalty-free licence to use that feedback to improve the service. We love hearing what would make your workspace calmer.

Authorise NoiseGate in your Slack workspace and invite the bot to channels that should be summarised.

Set up keyword alerts, DND preferences, and retention settings inside the NoiseGate dashboard.

Operate
Enjoy summaries, on-demand slash commands, and DND recaps. Monitor usage in the dashboard and revoke access at any time.

Offboard
Uninstall NoiseGate or email support@noisegate.io to revoke tokens and delete workspace data quickly and safely.
